About Me
Hi, my name is Michael Branch. I've been a firefighter with the Louisville Fire Department in Louisville, KY since 2015. Before that I worked in financial technology, publishing, and strategic advisory. I received my Masters in Business Administration in 2010 from the University of Louisville.
My goal in starting Firefighter Hub was to create a centralized location for firefighter resources (articles, videos, books, and more). Something to help firefighters find and utilize information. I search the web (and rely on users) to find and organize what's out there. I first envisioned the site to solve a problem of my own. I wanted a single place to go with organized resources so I could find something every shift to study or review. Googling and searching through individual resources left me wanting easier access to more. This site is my attempt at that.
